Lascaux cave tour: travel back in time
Lascaux, a must-see prehistoric site
During your stay at our campsite near Périgueux, La Garenne à Peyrignac, we highly recommend a visit to Lascaux and its cave, a true masterpiece of prehistoric art. Located just a few kilometers from our campsite in the Dordogne, this site, often referred to as the “Sistine Chapel of Prehistory”, is world-famous for its impressive frescoes dating back 17,000 years.
